Review Of Governance

This service involves a review of the six features of effective governance: 1. Strategic leadership, 2.Accountability, 3. People, 4. Structures, 5. Compliance, and 6. Evaluation. It includes a meeting with the chair of the governing body and a discussion with governors about their perception of their governance role. It also involves observation of a governing body meeting (if acceptable) and scrutiny of minutes of the governing body. This service typically takes one day plus half a day for writing the report.
